As a Market Research Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for conducting market research to gather consumer behavior and market trends. You will also find yourself working as part of a wider team alongside qualified professionals within the organisation. As a Market Research Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Conduct market research to gather and analyse data on consumer behavior, market trends and competitor analysis.

  • Utilise various research methods such as surveys, interviews and focus groups to collect data.

  • Interpret and analyse data using statistical software such as SAS, R or Power BI.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

  • Create visually appealing and informative data visualisations using tools like Tableau or Google Data Studio.

  • Prepare reports and presentations summarising research findings and recommendations.

As a Market Research Analyst, your skills and qualifications will include:

Qualification
  • Relevant qualification at degree level
Experience
  • Proven experience in market research or a similar role.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and technique. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent findings effectively. 
Numerical skills and problem solving
  • Numerical skills are vital for all ideal candidates, as you’ll be working with numbers day in, day out.
Interpersonal skills
  • As with any role that’s office based, communication is key – whether that’s with clients or your colleagues. Therefore, this skill is essential for this vacancy

Salary: £27,000.00 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week
